Here is our report on the Leeds City Council plan on a page consultation for Burley Park and the subsequently amended plan on a page. We will use this to guide our work in the park going forward and help us pitch for and allocate any future external funding sources that can be identified. Also there may be some aspects of the plan that can be achieved by strategic re-tasking of our limited available resources. The data from the consultation will guide us as we can now see which of the proposals have most public support. Also I will be in Burley Park (in the Bandstand) to hear people’s views on the following days: Thursday 24th August 9am - Noon, Saturday 23rd September Noon - 3pm and Wednesday 4th October 2pm—5pm. Leeds City Council would like to know what you think about your local parks and how we can make them better for everyone. Our aim is to set out a vision for each park to help us achieve our goal of providing the best parks in the UK. Online survey for Harehills Park is live until 12th October. If you know anyone who is not a computer or smartphone user that would like to contribute to the survey they can come to Harehills Park and talk to us in person on Thursday 20th July 9am-1pm or Saturday 22nd July 11am-3pm, or they can call 0113 378 6002 or email parks@leeds.gov.uk to get a paper copy of the survey.
